February 11, 2013. Odessa (Niki Gil) together with her friend rushed to Odessa's house and found out that their house was on fire. Odessa tried to save their house but there was nothing she can do. Meanwhile, Alberto (Patrick Garcia) had an argument with his parents. Alberto's parents were very angry at him because of his decision to buy a beach resort. Alberto's parents always wanted him to manage their business but Alberto wants to do what he always wanted to do. After their argument, Alberto went to the port, to work as a seaman. Before he boarded the ship, Alberto had a conversation Adrianna Lamayre (Angel Aquino/Empress Schuck). Adrianna tried to convince Alberto not to pursue what he wants to do with his life and to follow what his parents wanted. However, Alberto did not mind Adrianna and hurriedly boarded the ship. Meanwhile, Odessa together with her mother, temporarily lived at her friend'snippa hut. Odessa took care of her mother even without the help of her father. After Odessa let hermother drank her medicines, Odessa then hurriedly went to the ship, working as a prostitute. Being a prostitute is the only way Odessa could buy some medicines for her mother. Odessa had no choice but to work as a prostitute to help her mother.
